Civil War? No thank you. I’ll take a chef war any day.

There’s no love lost between Anthony Bourdain and Guy Fieri, who once called the Parts Unknown host a “no-good, loud mouth, jerkoff, wannabe authority, pseudo rebel, nerd, sh*t-talking, blow hard, celebrity-seeking, Eric Ripert coattail, Mario Batali ass-kissing hate monger… Jose Canseco of the food world, snaggle-tooth, Lurch-looking motherf*cker.” More recently, Fieri told GQ that he thinks Bourdain has “issues,” and that he doesn’t enjoy him “talking sh*t.” The Spuds MacKenzie of celebrity chefs added, “It’s just, what are you doing? What is your instigation? You have nothing else to f*cking worry about than if I have bleached hair or not? I mean, f*ck.”

Earlier this week, at the premiere of Adam McKay’s The Big Short, a “smart, infuriating” movie starring Ryan Gosling and Christian Bale, Bourdain was asked about Fieri’s comments. “I tell jokes about people sometimes,” he said. “But if you can’t tell jokes about Guy Fieri, comedy as we know it is dead.”

Can you imagine a world where you can’t make Guy Fieri jokes?

*shudder*
