It’s no secret that the late night landscape is a, ahem, “snowy” one with a couple of exceptions. When he appeared as a guest on Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Aziz Ansari was quick to point out that his merely being there was probably one of the most ethnically diverse moments on CBS in a while. It’s a subject that’s been a big part of his public appearances lately, so it’s not a surprise that it was brought up. For a little while there, it was an uncomfortable moment. But this is how progress was made: by having a conversation.
