We Know When ‘Better Call Saul’ Is Coming Back To AMC

If you hate the gray, dreary months that follow the holiday season, you might finally have a reason to love the winter: Better Call Saul is all set to return for its second season on Monday, February 15. That’s not just a cure for Valentine’s Day — it’s a cure for the mid-winter Mondays!

Better Call Saul‘s showrunners Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould hinted at the February premiere date while breaking down the brand new Blu-ray for the first season; they happened to film the video the day they wrapped production on the new season. That Blu-ray collection — which has all kinds of spangly features, like cast and crew commentary on every episode and plenty of featurettes — came out on November 10, but the first season is also available on Netflix. So, now you have a deadline to binge on the whole thing again or catch up if you missed the prequel series to Breaking Bad.

But what will season two show us, and how much closer will it bring Jimmy McGill to his life as Saul Goodman and the world of Breaking Bad where we first met him? We can speculate all we want, but maybe it’ll be more fun to look for Easter eggs instead.
