Watch Joss Stone Audition For Stone Temple Pilots In This Mash-Up Monday Performance On ‘Kimmel’

When Stone Temple Pilots recently announced that they would be losing Chester Bennington, singer Joss Stone was likely not on any short list of replacements. And yet, after watching her sing with the remaining band members on Jimmy Kimmel Live for Mash-Up Mondays, this might not be the worst option. The name of Joss Stone Temple Pilots, clever as it may be, might cause some issue with the bandmates. But I’m sure that can be worked out later, and should be. You can watch Joss having a blast performing STP’s “Interstate Love Song” and it’s almost a perfect fit.

It’s definitely more likely that we’ll see Joss Stone join the band before old lead singer Scott Weiland. Especially if he keeps trying to spill secrets about super special Guns N’ Roses reunions without Axl Rose’s approval. That’s how people end up disappearing. That and being members of Guns N’ Roses. We’re waiting to hear from you, Izzy Stradlin. You were the best member of the band.
