‘South Park’ Don’t Take Kindly To ‘Racist, Trigger-Happy’ Cops

In only six episodes this season, South Park has covered Caitlyn Jenner, Deflategate, Donald Trump, illegal immigration, gentrification, monstrous Yelp users, “safe spaces,” and, um, underage boys having sex with each other.

All in all, a typical South Park season.

But one #HotTake issue Trey Parker and Matt Stone haven’t gotten around to yet is violent police officers, probably because they’ve already been lampooning them for 18 seasons. But this Wednesday’s episode, “Naughty Ninjas,” is all about “racist, trigger-happy asshole” cops.” And also ninjas.

The ever more PC citizens of South Park decide that they no longer need a police force. As the first American town to get rid of their cops, they plan to celebrate their advanced sensibilities with a PC Carnival. (Via)

That’s one-half of the episode synopsis. The other: “When Kenny leads the boys in playing Ninja Warriors, a foreign terrorist organization takes notice.” Poor Officer Barbrady, South Park’s original incompetent cop. He’s not on the show anymore (his last appearance was in 2013 when he admitted to masturbating to Game of Thrones), so he’s going to miss the PC Carnival.

Maybe Quentin Tarantino will get his invitation.
