Well, Trevor Noah certainly had an interesting 24 hours. After dealing with an emergency appendectomy that ended up canceling Wednesday’s Daily Show, he was back on Thursday. This was apparently Noah’s first dealing with the U.S. health care system, and while he noted the doctors were great, having to fill out forms while your appendix is bursting sounds like a pain.

Noah also confirmed that it was he who wanted to come back to work so quickly while Comedy Central suggested he take as much time off as needed. Going by the footage of the correspondents visiting Noah at the hospital, however, I’d suspect he had other motives.
