It’s Thanksgiving: You should be asking your grandfather to tell you stories from his childhood or talking to your grandmother about what it was like to date before smartphones. But, if you must, there are some new episodes airing tonight, along with a special that should probably be set to a Sarah McLachlan album.

Sunday Night Football (NBC, 8:30 p.m.) — Jay Cutler and the Bears vs. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. The Pack have lost three of their last four (which has absolutely nothing to do with Olivia Munn and Aaron Rodgers’ sex life), and the Bears are coming off a brutal 17-15 loss to the Broncos and starting QB Brock Osweiler. Gross.

Mom (CBS, 9:00 p.m.) — Violet wants to spend more time with Christy (it is the holiday season, after all) and Bonnie tries to put the past behind her and start anew with her arch nemesis neighbor.

2 Broke Girls (CBS, 9:30 p.m.) — Caroline bumps into her ex (awk-ward) and starts to second guess some of her decisions because of how great he is with his … fiancé. Ugh.

The All-Star Dog Rescue Celebration (FOX, 8:00 p.m.) — Hilary Swank executive-produced this two-hour-long special that will feature celebrities and everyday heroes introducing adorable dogs that are totally available for adoption. You’re going to get tired of saying “aww.”

Elementary (CBS, 10:00 p.m.) — It’s always the boyfriend. That’s a phrase muttered by basically every detective in every cop drama ever made. And that’s because it usually is the boyfriend. But Holmes and Watson have their work cut out for them when they uncover the secret personal life of their victim, who worked at a fertility clinic.
