What’s On Tonight: ‘Chicago Med’ Premieres And ‘The Bastard Executioner’ Ends

Chicago Med (NBC, 9 p.m.) – NBC premieres its newest Chicago installment tonight with the premiere of a series that feels kind of like an updated E.R. mixed with a bit of Grey’s Anatomy drama (seasons one through four; the good ones). Expect plenty of crossovers and guest appearances by the Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. squads, probably in tonight’s pilot which focuses on a train crash that stretches the hospital staff at Chicago Med pretty thin.

The Bastard Executioner (FX, 10 p.m.) – The season comes to a close as Wilkin and Milus lead a group of men on a possibly fatal rescue mission.

Grandfathered (Fox, 8 p.m.) – Jimmy gives his son tips on how to pick up women while at the club, but when Gerald hits it off with a party girl, he worries she may be after his boy for all the wrong reasons.

NCIS (CBS, 8 p.m.) – A petty officer tries to clear his name and recruits the NCIS team to help.

The Flash (CW, 8 p.m.) – Grodd is back and causing chaos. When the super-ape kidnaps Caitlin, Barry and the team race to find her. Meanwhile, Cisco’s busy planning his first date with a barista and Patty suspects Barry is hiding something from her.

The Muppets (ABC, 8 p.m.) – Kermit and Fozzie go on a double-date with their significant others while Scooter spices up his late-night talk show (and his own love life) when he recruits Chelsea Handler to help him out.

The Voice (NBC, 8 p.m.) – Someone’s dreams are about to be crushed.

Fresh Off the Boat (ABC, 8:30 p.m.) – Eddie discovers this great and terrible power known as the internet while the rest of his family scramble to host a memorable Thanksgiving dinner.

The Grinder (Fox, 8:30 p.m.) – Stewart advises Dean that he won’t truly earn his “regular guy” status until he stops relying on his celebrity reputation. Stewart then advises Dean to completely forget his earlier advice when the pair find themselves in trouble.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC, 9 p.m.) – The team discovers a dangerous secret about ATCU while Ward’s plans to attack S.H.I.E.L.D. suffer a setback.

NCIS: New Orleans (CBS, 9 p.m.) – A blackout in the city may be linked to the murdered fiancé of Pride’s daughter’s friend.

Scream Queens (Fox, 9 p.m.) – Chanel loses her sh*t and a familiar face returns to campus as the Red Devil targets another student.

iZombie (CW, 9 p.m.) – Liv dines on the brains of a magician obsessed with death who was murdered at a magic convention in Seattle. Strange things follow.

Chicago Fire (NBC, 10 p.m.) – Boden grants a favor to a friend that could have serious repercussions while Severide continues to struggle at work and the rest of the team enjoys tickets to see Rush after responding to a call.

Limitless (CBS, 10 p.m.) – Brian tries to set a new Guinness World Record by capturing the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted criminals in just two weeks. His prize? A new, more spacious work area.

Tosh.0 (Comedy Central, 10 p.m.) – In which Tosh visits a woman’s possum kingdom and photobombs the art world.

Drunk History (Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.) – We learn how Sin City began and get an inside look at the Moulin Rouge.
