The Official Trailer For Ryan Murphy’s O.J. Simpson Miniseries Is Everything You’re Hoping It Is

The news that Ryan Murphy would be creating a miniseries based on the O.J. Simpson trial was very exciting, because Ryan Murphy is a producer who has a history of cranking all the dials on his shows up so high that the meters above them careen into the red area labeled “DANGER.” Then the official cast photos for American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson were released and it all got even more exciting, because, my God, click on that link and look at the face John Travolta is making as he tries to channel Simpson lawyer Robert Shapiro. Just magical, all around.

Well, now, finally, we have an official trailer for the series. If you were nervous this series wouldn’t contain lines of dialogue like “I ain’t trying to be respectful, I’m trying to win!” and “Who the hell signs a suicide note with a happy face?” and “I’m not black, I’m O.J.,” allow me to put your mind at ease: It does. And if you were also worried the trailer wouldn’t contain easily extractable frames of John Travolta and David Schwimmer (playing Robert Kardashian!) making some really terrific faces, well…

Yes, everything appears to be in order here.
