Aaron Paul Continues To Tease The Prospect That Jesse Might Pop Up On ‘Better Call Saul’

The fantasy of hanging out with Jesse Pinkman for an extra episode or two might become a reality if the man playing the character has anything to say about it.

Breaking Bad alum Aaron Paul offered up some dish to Variety on whether or not we might see his AMC alter-ego on Better Call Saul. If fans are willing to be patient, it sounds like we might get that reintroduction:

“Hopefully I will be involved,” he said. “But I don’t know when that may be. I’m not going to say anything more. But I’m absolutely open to the idea. Hopefully it happens. I’m all about it.”

Paul provided that perspective while fielding questions at the Television Critics Association press tour for Hulu’s new drama The Path. The actor revealed that he’s been in talks with series co-creator Vince Gilligan for a long time about a possible pop-by with discussions about a potential appearance dating back to before the show even began shooting. Paul says fans can rest assured that they’ll only see Jesse if it’s handled properly.

“If I were to be involved, I can promise that it would be done in the most beautiful way,” he said, “because there’s no way they’re going to bring Jesse Pinkman back just to bring him back. They’re going to bring him back and the audience is going to be very excited not just to see him, but to see how it all unfolded.”

Speaking of seeing things unfold, check out the recently released season two trailer for Better Call Saul. The critically acclaimed cable drama is set to return on February 15th on AMC. By the way, Bob Odenkirk could snare the prize for Best Performance in a Television Series – Drama at tonight’s Golden Globes.
