Let’s Talk Tuesday’s Geeky TV: ‘Agents Of SHIELD’ Brings On Inhumans

Last week, Agents of SHIELD returned firing on all cylinders. Things are credibly weird between Fitz and Simmons, Coulson went out of his way to offend Gideon Malick while accidentally revealing he didn’t know Malick has rescued an evil Inhuman, an evil Inhuman got his glasses melted to his face, and we met a new Inhuman hero with a neat power who helped SHIELD finally discover a use for the Apple Watch. And now Lincoln is threatening to become interesting.

Making a return this episode is the Absorbing Man, Crusher Creel, a Hulk villain who apparently can do guest shots. He also appears to really, really hurt Lincoln’s feelings, as said electric Inhuman pumps Creel full of volts in the promo. That said, most of the show appears to be concerned with spycraft; Coulson and the new head of the ATCU, Glenn Talbot, are forced to attend a symposium on Inhumans where they believe Malick has, you guessed it, an inside man. Oh, also there’s a traitor inside SHIELD, because of course there is. Our money is on Hunter having a brain slug or something, but we’ll find out tonight at 9 p.m. EST on ABC. Join us, won’t you?
