The Latest ‘American Horror Story’ Teasers Involve Alien Abduction And Some Pretty Messed Up Wind Chimes

Just because we don’t know what the heck season six of American Horror Story is going to be about yet isn’t stopping FX from promoting it out the wazoo, and the latest round of teasers now bring the number of micro previews to a whopping 10. Of course, that isn’t saying much because FX CEO John Landgraf said that of all the teasers, only “one of them is accurate; the others are all misdirects.” Not that it really matters, since American Horror Story teasers traditionally have very little to do with their respective seasons in the first place and are usually just a collection of some creepy ass imagery to get everyone hyped for the upcoming season.

Oh, did someone say “creepy ass imagery?” Following last week’s (kind of lame) train tracks CGI monster teaser, the latest three teasers feature an alien abduction, a shadow monster, and the above seriously effed up wind chimes. (THEY’RE MADE OF TEETH. THE WIND CHIMES ARE MADE OF TEETH!)

Probably the creepiest of the three is the aforementioned alien abduction teaser called “Camp Site,” which features a man getting pulled into the glowing ether and suddenly snapped in half in a way human bodies are not supposed to bend. Being that the alien trope was covered in season two’s Asylum (featuring decidedly more benevolent-seeming extraterrestrials), we’d have to guess that this is probably the least likely of the three new teasers to have anything to do with the upcoming season. Although, who knows?

Only one month left before we find out for sure! Season six premieres on September 14 at 10 p.m.
