Amy Adams is a terrific actress, but her finest job to date may be going full One Direction fan girl at the end of her new Saturday Night Live promos. That portion begins at the 2:15 mark and feels like such a realistic roller coaster of emotions and borderline insanity I can’t help but think she was channeling something buried deep in her past. My bet is she’s seen her fair share of Joey McIntyre posters in her day.
So yeah, Amy Adams is a spot-on choice to host the holiday installment of Saturday Night Live. Let’s not saddle her with a musical monologue and figure out some sort of Superman meets American Hustle digital short and it should be relatively smooth weekend, SNL.
