Amy Schumer Received A ‘Hostile Text’ From Kevin Hart Before Hosting ‘SNL’

One little joke between friends was just blown a bit out of proportion. Ahead of Amy Schumer‘s debut as host on tonight’s Saturday Night Live, fellow comedian Kevin Hart sent her an encouraging message in the form of what Schumer referred to on Twitter as a “hostile text” on Saturday morning.

Funny people tend to bust each others proverbial balls as a show of support but not everyone seemed privy of the intended sarcasm in Schumer’s Tweet as a bunch of folks became offended by Hart’s message, shown below:

It was just last month that Amy Schumer received her first Emmy award for Outstanding Variety Sketch series for Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer. In a field still dominated by men, Schumer has time and again showcased a quick wit and comedic resilience that continues to find the successful comedian in the spotlight. In response to Hart’s text, Amy (can I call you Amy?) advised him she would be sharing the “hostile text” on Twitter to which he replied in typical Kevin Hart fashion:

Kevin Hart is just being a supportive friend, people. I kind of wonder how Miley Cyrus would respond.
