Truck stops can be magical places to visit at times and at other times they can be nightmarish pits of sadness that you can’t wait to escape from down the highway. Anderson Cooper experienced the latter and on his birthday no less.
The CNN personality sat with David Letterman for a bit and talked about how he enjoyed treating himself to a Big Mac at McDonald’s from time to time and felt like having a very special Mickey-D’s moment for his birthday. Too bad Debbie Downer was working the register because Cooper’s triumphant meal turned into a pile of failure on a sesame seed bun.
We’ve all been there I’m sure. I know I have. Drinking sludge posing as coffee and pretending that no one licked the jerky container by the register. These are the risks you take.
