Ariana Grande’s Snapchat Filter Can’t Be Stopped In This Hilarious ‘Kimmel’ Horror Spoof

As Big Donut has claimed all alongAriana Grande is the new face of horror. The diminutive diva put her Scream Queens chops on display last night courtesy of a silly scary movie parody that bubbled up on Thursday’s edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

In a bit of casting that will likely produce terrifying fan art for decades to come, Grande plays a Snapchat obsessed woman who can’t get over how cute she looks with a dog face filter on. She preens, she stares, she waggles her big cartoon canine tongue around and it’s all laughter and joy until Grande goes too deep AND IS IRL DOG FACE FILTERED! (Someone get Rick Steiner on the phone!) This would prove to be remarkably inconvenient for the release of the pop titan’s new album Dangerous Woman, but we can confirm that this is a comedy “bit” and Ariana Grande’s face is not permanently covered by cartoon dog features.

“I love being a dog!” gushes Grande in the faux preview for Dog Face Filter. “I’m so cute.”

The “Into You” recording artist serves up a winning mix of comedy and creepy in this clip, although based on the way she described her childhood in a 2014 interview with Billboard, we think she might do well in a horror villain’s role, too.

“Dark and deranged. I always wanted to have skeleton face paint on or be wearing a Freddy Krueger mask, and I would carry a hockey stick around. I was like a mini-Helena Bonham Carter.” Sitting in the cavelike lounge we’ve retreated to in downtown L.A., she looses a throaty, almost maniacal laugh. “For my fifth birthday party we had a Jaws theme and all my friends left crying. I mean, I still am that way. But when I was little it was more concerning. There was a stage, when I was 3 or 4, where my mom thought I might grow up to be a serial killer.”

Let’s see if we can get Ariana Grande an Investigation Discovery series, shall we?
