Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is one of those “Her?” candidates that, despite polling almost squarely at the back of the pack of the fourteen GOP hopefuls, refuses to give up his dreams of the White House for some reason. On Wednesday night, Jimmy Fallon invited Jindal to The Tonight Show to explain himself and why he continues to campaign, and by “Bobby Jindal,” I mean Aziz Ansari doing a mean Bobby Jindal impersonation.
As to why Jindal is still going strong with just 1 percent of the poll, Aziz-Jindal informs Jimmy that he’s actually up to 2 percent now, and you don’t have to be a mathematician to know that two percent is 100 percent more than 1 percent. Making the comparison to 1 percent to 2 percent milk, he announces Jindal’s brand new campaign slogan: “Taste the Fat.” After having watched the video, I have no doubt that Aziz Ansari campaigning as Bobby Jindal would get his numbers to double-digits in no time.
