Bernie Sanders Thought Larry David’s ‘SNL’ Impersonation Was ‘Pretty, Pretty Good’

Possible future president Bernie Sanders did what Trump couldn’t, and sat down for an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday — including taking photos with Christopher Lloyd in Doc Brown mode. And sure, there was talk about policy like government banks and legalizing marijuana, but the very end is what piqued my interest. As you may have heard, Larry David lampooned Sanders on SNL, as he’s clearly the best person for the job, and it was something special. Kimmel was interested in Sanders’ thoughts on the sketch, opening up the opportunity for Sanders to do an impression of his own and landing David’s own “catchphrase” from Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Even if Bernie doesn’t win the election, you can’t say he hasn’t been entertaining. And a good type of entertaining, not the Trump type of frightening, embarrassing entertainment. You can check out the more policy focused highlights below:
