The Latest 'Breaking Bad' Trailer Feels Like A Ton Of Bricks Has Been Dropped On Your Soul

The new trailer for the final season of Breaking Bad features Walter White reading Percy Bysshe Shelley’s “Ozymandias.” That short poem’s central theme is about the decline of leaders, and of their empires, an incredibly fitting poem for this final season. But you know what Percy Bysshe Shelley never had? Walter f***ing White reading the poem in his gravelly tone over images of New Mexico, suburbia, the glaring, the rolling clouds, the RV, the Heisenberg hat, the beat of a dying heart.

“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!”
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.’

Jesus, this trailer. JESUS. It’s heavy. I think I may have lost feeling in my legs.
