Anyway, look. I was fully prepared to make fun of this for being the kind of blatant nostalgia bait that confuses “making references” with “making jokes,” but then I remembered that I spent like a half an hour on Twitter the other week dreaming up a scenario where The Max was Bayside’s version of Los Pollos Hermanos, with Max himself as its Gus Fring. I surrendered the high ground on this one before they even showed up on the battlefield.
