When it was announced that Ben Affleck is our new Batman and Bryan Cranston may be Lex Luthor, we knew the fan mashups would roll in (Example: Southie Batman!). This one, however, threw the fulminated mercury against the wall and blew everyone else away.
SoylentBrak1 pieced together footage from twenty properties including Breaking Bad, Man Of Steel, The Dark Knight, Total Recall (2012), Daredevil, and more. It’s all set to “I Will Find Him” and “Arcade” from Han Zimmer’s excellent Man Of Steel score.
Let this video serve as a reminder why Warner seriously needs to cast Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor. Everyone else auditioning best stay out of his territory.

Holy fuck that was good. Also goes to show how good Hans Zimmer’s score was for Man of Steel.
Wow…I’m actually excited for the movie now, more so than before. WB needs to throw that guy a few bones.
Cranston should not play Lex in the ‘Batman vs. Superman’ movie. Luthor doesn’t have SHIT on Heisenberg.
He should be Darkseid, dammit.
Time to start speculating on Superman 3… Can we get John Noble to do the voice of Braniac again?
/sploosh
That was impressive.
And now I came…
I think I need a new colostomy bag. This one’s all full.
As much as I love Cranston, he just isn’t suave enough to play Lex Luthor. He’s too wrinkly and grizzled. Lex needs to be the perfect human… he hates Superman because he get’s to be better than humanity can even attempt to be. Cranston is vicious, and has great acting chops, but I don’t see him getting a face lift.
Really? The MoS Superman who just destroyed Metropolis without a care in the world while battling Zod is better than humanity can ever be? The Superman who showed no compassion to the destruction and chaos raining down on innocents is better than humanity? Granted, thats what Superman has been and what he is SUPPOSED to be, but thats not how the MoS Superman was portrayed, or who he is. Right now MoS Superman, to me at least, is an all powerful, omnipotent alien being who cares for very little other than accomplishing his unyielding goal through any means necessary.
I meant in a physical sense, not in a moral sense.
Though personally I have no problem with Superman not fully knowing how to be a hero in Man of Steel considering at the time he’d been Superman for about two days. I also didn’t see the wonton destruction as a problem… that kind of stuff happens in comics all the time.
Am I missing something? Wouldn’t Zod have visited a much worse fate upon Metropolis if Superman hadn’t stopped him?
Wouldnt Loki and the Chitauri have inflicted far more damage than they did during their invasion had The Avengers not shown up? Yet it was a clearly defined directive of Iron Man to order the protection of civilians and minimization of destruction. It was so important, they it wasnt even implied. There was a conversation about it during the movie.
You dont get to play the “yea but it would have been worse if…” game when it comes to superheroes. They either adhere to their morals and character traits or they dont. MoS chose to ignore and dismiss the fact that Superman has always attempted to protect civilians and minimize destruction during his extraordinary battles. Its what separates Superman from a mercenary like Lobo. Lobo does what Lobo does to get the job done, everything else, all the collateral damage, thats not Lobo’s problem. The main man’s job is done and thats all that matters. Superman is supposed to be better than that.
The entire premise and concept of Superman is that Kal El is supposed to embody the morals and values that we as human beings hold in the highest regard. The Kents teach Kal El to be human and to be the best that he can be at all times. To show compassion and kindness to all and to help those in need. The Kents represent the best of humanity, those ideals that we as humans and society hold in the highest regard. They imbue those ideals into Kal El and he becomes the physical symbol of the best of humanity because he can be due to his super powers. The best of humanity was on display during Avengers, not MoS.
The sad part is that montage will be a better movie the actual MoS sequel…
I totally agree with you.
