Auditions are often a maddening time for actors, but probably even more so when the director is trying to bring intense emotion out of them. When auditioning for her role on Suicide Squad, actress/model/beatboxer Cara Delevingne remarked that David Ayer simply making her read a monologue from Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolfe? led to enough ferocity to want to kill people after leaving the set.
After some talk about the Suicide Squad cast looking “lickable” in the trailer, Delevingne delved into the dangers of modeling with bears and tarantulas. She never has a dull moment.
