Christina Aguilera’s ‘Sex And The City’ Impression Is Still Absolutely Perfect

On February 21, 2004, Christina Aguilera hosted Saturday Night Live with musical guest Maroon 5, and the very talented singer proved that she could hang with the best of the show’s female stars. Specifically, Aguilera totally stole the spotlight in an otherwise average Sex and the City sketch that was highlighted by Amy Poehler’s perkiness and Rachel Dratch mishandling a fake baby. Seth Meyers was promoted to a repertory player before the start of that season, so he definitely remembers the strong laughs that Aguilera earned for her perfect parody of Kim Cattrall’s Samantha.

So when Aguilera stopped by last night’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, he asked her to dust off the impression one more time and it’s still just as funny as it was back then. Of course, the punchline doesn’t make much sense without the proper context, so here’s the original sketch so we can enjoy it all over again.
