'Community Rises': The Return of the Greendalians Gets Epic Batman Treatment

If the erection you get while watching this Dark Knight Rises/”Community” mash-up lasts more than four hours, please consult a physician. While you’re in his office, pull your doctor up by his collar, throw him against the wall, and demand that he watch the return of “Community” on March 15th. We need all the help we can get because, as TV Guide forewarns: Smart network sitcoms may soon be a thing of the past. We’re headed toward a very dark future in which shows like “Parks and Recreation,” “30 Rock,” “Cougar Town,” “Raising Hope,” “Happy Endings” and “Community” may no longer exist.

After all, “Parks and Recreation” is getting its ass kicked in the ratings by “Rob.” By “Rob,” people. Do you hear that noise? That’s the plinkity rattling of the average television viewer’s brain inside his cranium. We must save future generations from the likes of Rob Schneider, Charlie Sheen, and Ashton Kutcher. You, the smart television viewer, are our only hope.

Watch this trailer. Heed this warning. There are 311 million in the United States. Four million watch “Community.” We are the 1%. RISE!
