‘Glee’ Paid One Last Tribute To The Late Cory Monteith In A Tearful Series Finale

After six seasons and 121 episodes of singing, dancing and heartbreak, Fox’s hit show Glee came to an end Friday night. The writers and producers were given the impossible task of paying tribute to the late Cory Monteith (1982-2013) who played Finn Hudson through the show’s first four seasons.

They did a wonderful job.

In a tearful final scene, glee club villain Sue Sylvester (played by Jane Lynch) returned to McKinley High School in her role as Vice-President Of The United States to rename the auditorium in Hudson’s honor.

Then the entire cast joined the New Directions on stage one last time.
