Fox News Has Kicked Off Its Annual War On Christmas And The ‘Daily Show’ Is On It

As reliable as the sun rising in the East and setting in the West, the passing of Thanksgiving each year gives birth to Fox News whipping old white people into hysterics over the fake persecution of Christians. Thankfully, Jon Stewart and the Daily Show are around to mock and ridicule it.

In particular, last night Stewart singled out Bill O’Reilly and Sarah Palin for predictably leading the charge to conjure up a holiday “world of pure fear and despair.” After playing a clip of Palin touting the fact that she displays a menorah in her home every year as some sort of symbol of recognition of the Jewish faith, Stewart quipped, “While I appreciate the gesture, Jews don’t actually just leave a Menorah out for the month of December, like a knick-knack in a curio case.”

As an added bonus, here’s the segment that preceded the one above, in which Stewart mocks Fox for also freaking out over the nonexistent spread of “Sharia law”…

And you really should watch Stewart’s interview with Jared Leto, as well as his segment on the GOP declaring racism to be over.
