It’s always strange watching child actors grow up and do something else. It’d be one thing to pigeonhole an actor to a certain role, but another to do so before they hit puberty. Jermaine Crawford has had to overcome such obstacles (like this article title), as he’s transitioned from playing troubled youth Dukie on The Wire to a career in music.

We noted last year that Crawford was one of many former Wire cast members to dabble in music, and he looks to be taking it further with this new EP, 4PLAYT3OIS. Hopefully this means Crawford is getting some play with the ladies instead of watching Michael have all the fun.
