Since the Emmys nominations were announced, we have broken them down and given our take on who will probably win what. But I just can’t hold my tongue anymore, because some of the exclusions here are absurd. Yeah, I’m looking at you Parks and Rec and Justified. We love you. Stay on forever.
Parks and Rec is up against some really tough competition in the Best Comedy category, so it might not find a win for the series, but why isn’t Mr. Meat Tornado himself nominated? Nick Offerman has not had one nomination for the entire run of this show and in my book that’s a crime against humanity. Well, at least we have Amy Poehler to try and bring up the slack.
And let’s shift over to Justified…where the hell is it? One of the best, most engaging shows on television deserves at least a nod, if not a win here. Why it’s been snubbed is beyond me. Not to mention the lovable, blood-lustful Walton Goggins just can’t seem to catch a break with this show. Maybe we should unleash his wrath on the Academy.
Above are just a couple of snubs on a list a mile long. So, this begs the question…
