Esquire Has Decided That Now’s A Pretty Good Time For A ‘What Would Ryan Lochte Do?’ Marathon

Celebrated swimmer, noted goofus, and possible dirty rotten liar Ryan Lochte has managed to be a fixture in the news even though he’s a continent away from the pool in Rio. Seeing as the dude is plastered all over television and every internet outlet possible, this seems like a sensible time to dust of Lochte’s reality show for a binge watch.

People reports that Esquire TV is more than happy to accommodate your Lochte fix and will be airing all eight episodes of the 2013 E! series What Would Ryan Lochte Do? in one big swoop this Friday. (Presumably Brazilian authorities might have a different attitude towards that title.) All eight episodes featuring Lochte, his “Lochterage,” and the very real worry that the Olympic gold medalist might shove an object way too far up his nose will air on Esquire starting at 6 p.m. (Eastern/Pacific) and roll on through to the series finale. We wouldn’t bank on the re-air springing a full-on revival of the reality show, but maybe Lochte’s current scandal might add some intrigue to a new reality take on the athlete.

Will you be watching? Give us your take in the comments and then maybe splash around in the pool after. Or a tub filled with vodka. It’s your summer, do what you like!
