Feast Your Eyes On Bill Murray’s First Performance As Nick, The Lounge Singer At Second City

If there’s one thing that we just can’t get enough of, it’s really old clips of super famous people performing before they were stars, and if that super famous person is Bill Murray, then we’ve achieved peak nostalgia. The Second City and Splitsider have teamed up to release a “new” old clip each week from the comedy institution’s extensive archives, and even though there are so many, many comedians that they could choose from, there’s no better person to start with than Bill Murray. That’s why this week’s Second City Archives clip features everyone’s most beloved actor in his first performance as Nick the Lounge Singer.

As for the upcoming weekly clips, if Second City and Splitsider are taking requests, we’d love to see vintage Chris Farley, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Joan Rivers, Gilda Radner, John Belushi, Steve Carell, Keegan-Michael Key, Harold Ramis, Fred Willard, Mike Myers, Bob Odenkirk, Amy Sedaris, and Stephen Colbert, just to name a few. Oh, and a lot more Bill Murray, if it exists.
