Former Whacked Out, Hep-C Heroin Addict Gets Her Own Network Sitcom (And The Morning Links)

Natasha Lyonne — who many of you may remember for Slums of Beverly Hills and the American Pie movies; while others may know her from a decade-long string of terrible straight-to-DVD flicks; while yet others may know her as the heroin addict with a series of legal problems who was evicted by her landlord Michael Rappaport and who once threatened to molest a neighbor’s dog — has landed a pilot deal over on Fox. Her show, suitably enough, will be about a straight-out-of-rehab woman who moves in with her conservative brother and, yes, it is loosely based on Lyonne’s own life. ‘MERICA! (via)
