The First Photos From ‘Fuller House’ Will Get Your Nostalgia Senses Tingling

Between a first teaser featuring an adorable new Comet, the principal female cast doing the “Whip Nae Nae” and continued shenanigans with the Olsen twins, the Netflix Full House reboot, Fuller House is getting a lot of press these days. Well kids, prepare yourselves for a communal nostalgia trip back down the Pacific Highway to the late ’80s and early ’90s, because the first official photos from the new series are here.

Most of the four photos released by Netflix on Thursday feature D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie Turner (Jodie Sweetin) and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), who serve as the new show’s main cast. The first, however, includes original Full House roommates Becky Katsopolis (Lori Loughlin), Jesse Katsopolis (John Stamos), Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) and Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier) lending the new trio some moral support.

This all makes sense of course, as D.J., Stephanie and Kimmy’s story serves as the main plot of the new show. Like Full House before it, Fuller House will tell the story of a single parent’s efforts to raise the children with the help of a sibling and a best friend after the death of the spouse. This time, however, D.J. takes over the role previously occupied by her father, Danny, and her sister and best friend take over for Jesse and Joey.

Okay Internet, try turning these memory-laden, fluffy and wonderful pictures into yet another teaser for a new horror show. Just try it. I dare you.

Fuller House premieres on Friday, Feb. 26 on Netflix.
