FX Is Turning The Coen Brothers’ ‘Fargo’ Into A TV Series (And The Morning Links)

Brush off your wood chippers and Steve Buscemi action figures: according to the Hollywood Reporter, “FX has given script orders to an hourlong dramatic take of [Fargo], the 1996 Academy Award best picture nominee. Joel and Ethan Coen…are on board to executive produce the effort, alongside My Generation‘s Noah Hawley, who will pen the script.” Hopefully this turns out better than FX’s ill-fated attempt at reviving another 1996 Best Picture nominee, Rise and Shine.
