Get Excited, Because BFFs Ben Affleck And Matt Damon Are Making A TV Show

Syfy is most recognizable for its cheesy made-for-TV movies like Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda, Robocroc, and of course Sharknado, but the network will soon be getting some A-list talent to their line-up.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s production company Pearl Street, which produced 2012’s Promised Land and has several more films in development, will be working with CBS Television Studios and SyFy on a new television show called Incorporated. The show will explore a future where corporations rule the world, which is a far-fetched notion to be sure.

Nothing has been announced as far as casting as of yet, but the talent behind the camera is stellar. The Good Wife’s Ted Humphrey has been brought on as showrunner and executive producer, and Jennifer Todd (Memento) will be executive producer along with Damon and Affleck. Selfless’ David and Alex Pastor will also write the pilot episode.

Very little has been revealed about the plot of the show except its vague man-against-the-machine premise, but getting big name talent like Damon and Affleck is a huge deal for Syfy. Hollywood’s favorite BFFs must have something good with Incorporated to take a chance on the network behind Sharknado 2: The Second One.
