The final episode of Breaking Bad was so satisfying. Just about every character got the ending they deserved. And, most importantly, I got what I wanted, so yay. But Cajun Boy already ran through all of this in his recap earlier today, so rather than re-hash it all again here, I’ll just post that link and move along. We have other business to get to.
The song that played over the final scene, “Baby Blue” by Badfinger, was basically perfect. Title, lyrics, tone, etc. Gold star and a rocketship sticker for you, Mr. Gilligan. But if you think for one second that any of that stopped me from stripping that song from the scene and replacing it with “Tha Crossroads” by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, you are sorely, spectacularly mistaken.
