We brought this to your attention a little while back, but now you can see it without buying the DVD of the final season of How I Met Your Mother. It’s the ending the finale probably should’ve had, but instead we got a long, death filled slog of flashbacks and what should’ve beens.
Much like the fan edit that we posted after the finale aired, this one ends right after the mother and Ted meet at the train station, but there’s a vignette thrown in for good measure. Watch it while you can because I feel like it’s one of those things that will get removed until an official version pops up somewhere. Better yet, don’t watch and just continue living in your fantasy world where the show never ended. Everyone is happy, no one is married, and life just continues onward.
UPDATE:
The original was taken down obviously, lending a lot to it being real. Luckily there are some mirrors popping up like this clip from the episode and the replacement above. Probably won’t be around long, so enjoy it.
