(And a man remembers his debts.) The video content alone — look no further than this perfect Magic Mike mashup and this cat-themed opening title sequence) — has been superb.
The video above is yet another gem. By including Rustin Cohle and company in a shot-for-shot parody of the season nine Law & Order opening credits, it answers one of the True Detective‘s most nagging questions: “What would the opening credits look like if they were done in the style of a popular network police procedural?”
