Martin Short stopped by The Daily Show last night to promote his new book, I Must Say: My Life As a Humble Comedy Legend. But before they got into talking about his book, the two men needed to discuss a more pressing topic at hand: Katy Perry’s gigantic tiger that she rode in on during Sunday’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. The Super Bowl conversation starts around the 1:20 mark, and quickly moves to the halftime show.

Watching a 50-something man and a 60-something man seriously debate on whether or not a giant tiger that was ridden by a pop star was a “puppet,” as Jon Stewart says, or “people dressed as legs,” as Short contends was pretty adorable to say the least. For the record though, Jon Stewart nailed it. It was a f*cking puppet!
