Clips featuring an awkward visit to the doctor’s office and a Game of Thrones parody have already teased Inside Amy Schumer fans about the upcoming fourth season, which premieres Thursday, April 21 at 10 p.m. ET. That’s a solid seven days away, which means that the show’s latest preview — a 90-second mostly NSFW trailer posted on YouTube by Comedy Central — is yet another big tease. Except this one is decidedly “uncensored,” as the opening tagline blatantly suggests, which means that some of Amy Schumer‘s raunchier (i.e. all of it) moments are on full display. Which is fantastic.
And also a bit messy, as most of the new and extended material Comedy Central has packed into this trailer has something to do with bodily fluids. Not just the ones you immediately started thinking about, but many, many others and additional related subjects as well. Things like:
- Wet dreams about other people’s genitalia
- A yogurt brand with a weird side effect
- The Color Purple
- Gymnastics
- A “steaming” Hot Pocket®
- The miracle of childbirth
Frankly, U2 frontman Bono was wrong. The United States of America and its European allies don’t need to deploy comedians like Schumer, Chris Rock and Sacha Baron Cohen in order to fight ISIS extremists. They just need to send a few clips over of Inside Amy Schumer‘s next season (with appropriate translations), sit by the super-official red phone in the president’s office, and wait.
