‘The Walking Dead’ Will Be ‘A Totally Different Show’ In Season 7 According To Jeffrey Dean Morgan

After the awesome trailer that dropped at Comic Con, fans of The Walking Dead have grown even more impatient for the arrival of season seven. After that devastating cliffhanger at the end of season six, trauma surely awaits everyone who tunes in, but the need to know what happens remains unabated (as the countless theories that have flooded the internet can attest). With the arrival of Negan and the introduction of The Kingdom, big changes will rock the group.

In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Negan himself, weighs on on the devastation that his sure-to-be iconic villain will rain on our favorite characters.

“It’s a reset on TheWalking Dead world. It’s f*cking Negan’s world now.” Morgan goes on to explain that the core characters will be rocked by the fallout, taking them (and the fans) to previously unknown depths on the show.

“What you’re going to see in the first half of this season is Negan wreaking havoc,” says Morgan. “And some of your characters that you’ve grown to love are not going to be on the show anymore, and it’s going to end badly for them. It’s going to be a whole new beginning for The Walking Dead. Really, we’ve taken the show and just flipped it upside down. It’s a different show now. It’s going to have a different feeling. You’re going to see your favorite characters in a position that they’ve never been in before, which is super vulnerable and victimized.”

Say a prayer for your faves, friends. It is not going to end well for them.
