Jerry Seinfeld and Jason Alexander were seen by Twitter user ClubAliP walking into Tom’s Restaurant (known as Monk’s on Seinfeld) this morning. Gawker reported that Larry David was also there and that they shut down the restaurant for a film crew, which means that it is most likely for an upcoming episode of everybody’s favorite “I’ve got a ten minute break at work” web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (speaking of which, if you haven’t seen Louis CK captain a boat, now’s the time.) It’s also possible they were discussing the new Broadway project Seinfeld will be doing with Larry David.
Or maybe they are recreating the music video for “Tom’s Diner,” which doesn’t seem to be set in the restaurant it’s named for so much as a really cool dream Suzanne Vega probably had once.
