Last night on The Daily Show, Jessica Williams did an investigation on the subject of mixed marriages — no, not mixed race — but dating across political party lines. After speaking to one couple who have been insanely married for almost 35 years, despite being a liberal Democrat and conservative Republican, respectively, she talked to some level-headed singles who claim that they would never date outside of party lines. Preach, sister!
I mean, what would happen if these so-called liberals and conservatives started breeding, for Christ’s sake? We might end up with a society full of moderates, and nobody wants that. *shivers* … The horror…
