Jon Stewart Connects The Dots Between Obamacare And Black Friday

In addition to chatting with Ian McKellen about Jennifer Lawrence, Jon Stewart had some thoughts on Black Friday to express last night on the Daily Show.

“There’s something about the holidays,” Stewart remarked. “Reminds us how we like to gather with our loved ones around the crackle of a stun gun.”

After noting that Black Friday is a creation of the private sector — the entity, for lack of a better term, in which many on the right feel America’s healthcare system should be managed exclusively by — and that Walmart lauded this past Friday, a day that saw its website crash, as its most successful Black Friday ever, Stewart had the following to say: “So if a website crashes trying to give people healthcare it’s a national travesty, but if Walmart’s website crashes while their stores fill with people disemboweling each other to get ‘Skyfall’ on Blu-ray…(air kiss).”

Enjoy. Here’s part one…

And here’s part two…
