Allow The ‘Daily Show’ To Break Down America’s Chances Of Winning The ‘Homophobic Olympics’

America’s hatred for gays is legendary. But it’s starting to pale in comparison to the hatred for gays in places like Russia, Uganda, India, and Nigeria. Can America keep up enough to take home the gold in 2014? That was the burning question of last night’s Daily Show, where Jon Stewart brought on senior Olympics correspondent Aasif Mandvi for analysis.

“Team USA has been regressing all winter, and I think we have a shot,” a hopeful Mandvi explained to a concerned Stewart before cueing a clip of current Bachelor star Juan Pablo Galavis saying that gay people are “pervert in a sense.” Mandvi then began cheering “USA USA USA” while pumping his fists in the air.
