To quote Amy Poehler, the perfectly nice-seeming Amal Clooney is a “human rights lawyer who worked on the Enron case, [was] an adviser to Kofi Annan on Syria, and was appointed to a three-person commission investigating rules of war violations in the Gaza strip.”
But Kathy Griffin thinks she’s “annoying,” so…
The Joan Rivers fill-in had some not-so-nice things to say about Amal during E!’s Fashion Police, where no matter how fancy your dress is, no matter how much time you spent on your makeup, you still look like human garbage. Including Mrs. Clooney and her white glove.
“Yeah, she’s annoying,” said Griffin as a photo of Amal Alamuddin at the Golden Globes appeared on screen. “You heard me! Everybody run in fear! I thought it was weird that she had those gloves that remind me of, like, a porn scene.”
Griffin went on to say that Alamuddin’s gloves make her look as though she should be washing dishes or participating in a “bovine insemination.” (Via)
For a second, I thought she said “bovine university,” and I was all ready to praise Kathy Griffin for making a Simpsons reference. But nope, she was just being cruel. Oh well.
