Celebrity for five minutes Kato Kaelin was thrust back into the public consciousness recently when the FX miniseries American Crime Story: The People Vs. O.J. Simpson hit the airwaves. Perhaps as a way to capitalize on the popularity of the show — in a very cynical way — the suit that Kato wore when he testified in court is now available on eBay… for a cool five grand.

Kato, the surfer dude who lived in O.J.’s guest house so that the Juice would have someone to play golf and eat cheeseburgers with, didn’t even own a suit. So when it came time for him to take the stand and testify in the “trial of the century,” he had to borrow one.

The suit’s a size 40, so make sure you take measurements before placing a bid (which barely exceed $600 at the moment). And if you are at all skeptical that this suit is indeed the one worn by your favorite do-nothing that day in court 20 years ago, fear not: the suit comes with a certificate of authenticity too.

Or, if this all seems a bit silly, you should a) be commended for being a normal, functioning adult, and b) follow some sound advice and just go out and buy yourself a brand new suit. It’ll be a lot cheaper.
