Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt charmed critics and viewers alike in its first season with its unrelenting optimism, sharp writing, and hilarious ensemble. Ever since Kimmy did her victory lap in Indiana and helped send Reverend Richard Wayne Gary Wayne to prison, fans have been eagerly awaiting every bit of news about season two. While we knew that we would be introduced to Kimmy’s mother, most details have been pretty scarce.
Well, we finally have our first real look (cute teaser aside) at what to expect from the upcoming season. Titus is calling Kimmy “Kimbecile,” Jacqueline is scheming to get more money without working, and Kimmy is proving that spending her formative years in the bunker has seriously left her without any dating skills. It also looks like that despite defeating Reverend Wayne, Kimmy is still battling her demons, albeit in the sunniest way possible. Yep, this is the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt that we know and love. With Tina Fey and Robert Carlock still at the helm, there is little doubt that this show will continue to be as strong as ever.
Also, when can we expect a full length series about the crime solving duo of Bunny and Kitty? That theme song is too good to go to waste.
