Khloe Kardashian Says She Has ‘Not Reunited’ With Lamar Odom, Nor Is She Using Him For Publicity

Before Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel (thanks to “ominous” prostitutes), Khloe Kardashian‘s life was trucking along as all Kardashians’ lives do. An endorsement here, a photo op there. Khloe was preparing to release her new book, Strong Looks Better Naked, and then things went all wrong for Odom in early October. Not only has Khloe been dealing with hot garbage from the brothel owner, but she’s also coping with her (formerly) estranged husband’s health crisis.

In the midst of this drama, Khloe gave an interview to People to promote her book. The published interview barely mentions the book and focuses on her relationship with Odom. In this excerpt, Khloe says that, contrary to previous reports, she is not hopping back in bed with Odom (despite calling off the divorce):

“There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It’s not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now. I loved him always, and I will always love him. I pulled back on the divorce because there is no rush for it. For medical reasons and a ton of other things, it’s just smarter that it’s put on hold. But that does not mean I’m back with Lamar. It’s not even in our brains to think about us having a relationship. Only time will tell.”

Now, Khloe may have talked a lot about her book in this interview. Perhaps People made the editorial decision to sell more magazines by focusing on the Odom drama. Or maybe she really did talk about him the whole time. There’s no way of learning the truth of the matter. Khloe’s a little bit steamed that people are calling her out.
