Last week, the Legends faced off, and won, against a Terminator. This week, they’re facing off against a giant robot stuffed with acid. What could possibly go wrong?
If you were wondering who the giant dude with the atomic symbol on his face is, that would be Chemo, a DC villain who’s basically the publisher’s version of Godzilla, a giant walking vat of chemicals that follows orders and covers everything with toxic waste. Why anybody thinks this is useful is something the comics have never explained, and we’re not really sure why Vandal Savage thought it was, either. But the guy’s been alive for four thousand years, so really he might just be bored.
Meanwhile, Ray and Kendra have gotten engaged, despite the warnings of Kendra’s past self in that Wild West episode that it will all go horribly wrong and Kendra will die alone. This being a CW superhero show, we are sure that will just be the wild protestations of an award-winning actress and in no way whatsoever will a relationship end in fire and tears. Besides, the whole cast is coming back next season, so they can’t kill anyone off. Of course, they could also just pluck them out of time, so maybe we shouldn’t get attached to anyone.
