Sarah Silverman Explains The Differences Between Divas And C*nts Through Song

The best thing about Sarah Silverman’s poignant new song, “Diva,” is also its worst thing: the chorus is very catchy and very inappropriate to sing in public. It’s like “N*ggas in Paris,” if the only lyric to that song was the first word in the title. Even now, an hour after I’ve listened to it, my mind can’t stop thinking about “c*nt c*nt c*nt c*nt c*nt”…dammit. (Also, I see you, Harris Wittels.) I know one guy who won’t be listening to the song any time soon:

Despite all manner of career-friendly gifts – from her looks to solid acting chops – she’s limited herself by appearing determined to prove she can be as dirty and distasteful as the boys, an attribute very much on display in her HBO special We Are Miracles, which premieres on Nov. 23. (Via)

“Leave the dick jokes to the dudes; go be a pretty person elsewhere.” Now THAT’S a c*nt thing to say.
